All possible steps to be taken for establishment of peace: Shoukat

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information, Shoukat Yousafzai has said that release of Abhai Nandan is irrefutable proof that Pakistan believed in peace and would take every step for its promotion.

He was addressing the concluding ceremony of a five-day workshop organized by Women Media Centre for working women as a Chief Guest here on Friday.

He said that the gesture of Pakistan reflects our strong commitment to maintain peace and serenity in the region. However, he said in case war was imposed upon us, we are fully capable to deal attempts of aggression and aggrandizement against motherland. He said that nation was united to defend the sovereignty of country beside the valiant forces of Pakistan.

Minister also appreciated the efforts of media center and said that its endeavors would facilitate women in achieving self-reliance besides getting new opportunities of growth and development. He said that the training would enhance the capabilities of women who wants to join media in future.

Highlighting the efforts of government to resolve the woes of the country, he said that leadership of PTI is fully capable to deal any situation including financial problems of the country.

He said that ill-calculated decisions of previous rules are the factors that not only overburdened country by foreign loans but also increased the complexities of monetary system. Shoukat said that people would soon enjoy the fruits of our welfare oriented policies and witness positive change in five months. He also distributed prizes and certificates among participants.
