ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is ready to share the so-called threat letter with Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice, Umar Atta Bandial, however, the said letter cannot be shared with the public due to its sensitive nature. It was announced by Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar flanked by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain in a news conference in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Asad Umar claimed that he himself had seen that letter and a few other members of the Federal Cabinet were also aware of it, however, Umar was of the view that the government laws dictate about dealing with such sensitive matters. Asad Umar told the media that after deliberating with someone on the issue, the Prime Minister agreed to share the letter with the Chief Justice of Pakistan, who is a credible person and enjoys a lot of respect in the country.

According to Minister, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Umar Atta Bandial holds high office and trustworthiness, and the government might share the letter with him if the need arises in the due course of time.

While persuading the disgruntled members of Parliament (MPs) from the ruling Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), allies, and opposition parties, the Ministers said that earlier most of the MPs were unaware of the fact and now the Premier had disclosed the conspiracy behind the no-confidence motion, hence the parliamentarians from the opposition and the disgruntled members of the PTI may rethink their attitude and side with the Prime Minister Imran Khan during the voting on the no-confidence motion in the coming days.

While responding to a media query regarding the people involved in the conspiracy, Umar said that former Prime Minister and Supreme Leader of the PML (N), Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is involved in the conspiracy against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

While speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that PML (N), Supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif is sitting in London, and he had met with the officials of foreign Intelligence Agencies and people from International Establishment while sitting there.

While answering a question, Fawad said that Nawaz had met with the Israeli Ambassador and his activities had been reported by the media in recent days.
Fawad said that he can brief the media regarding Nawaz’s activities abroad after getting permission from Prime Minister Imran Khan.

While digging into details of the foreign conspiracies in the country, Federal Minister said that it is not a new thing in Pakistan as the first Prime Minister of the country Liaqat Ali Khan was killed, former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was prosecuted due to foreign involvement as well as former military ruler General Zia-ul-Haq’s plane was crashed due to foreign-sponsored conspiracy.

While praising Prime Minister Imran Khan’s legacy, Fawad said that things had been manipulated due to foreign involvement in the country which is a part of history, but now Pakistan has a leader who does not attend calls from abroad and enjoys public support.

Fawad also tried to convince the disgruntled MPs and opposition leaders and said that they might be unaware of the truth and getting informed about the threat letter they might rethink their support for Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is facing a serious threat to the survival of his government in the Country.

Fawad further urged that it is up to MPs whether they will support the forces working against the country or the Prime Minister of the country.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had waved a closed letter during his speech at a historic rally of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) in Islamabad on Sunday. The Premier told his supporters that a conspiracy had been hatched by the foreign powers and some elements from his party and opposition is the part of that plan, however, he refused to share the detail.

After the revelation, the opposition demanded the sharing of the threat letter with the parliament or National Security Council (NSC), the top body of the country dealing with the most sensitive issues relating to the national security of Pakistan.
In response to Opposition demands, the pair of Ministers appeared to the media and announced the Premier’s willingness to share the threat letter with the Chief Justice of Pakistan if the need arises.
