Bilawal Bhutto decides to reactivate PPP in Punjab

LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) high command has decided to reactivate the party in Punjab, on Wednesday.

During his recent stay in Lahore, former foreign minister and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had chalked out a strategy and also issued instructions to the party leaders to start making preparations for general elections.

As part of the strategy, sources explained, the party would begin its election campaign by holding conventions in central and southern Punjab, which would be addressed by the PPP chairman. 

They disclosed that Bilawal would again come to Lahore in the next few days. 

Several politicians were expected to join the PPP in the coming days, sources claimed.

PPP’s women celebrate Bilawal’s birthday

On the other hand, PPP Punjab Women’s Wing organised a function in connection with the birthday of former foreign minister and party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Lahore on Wednesday.

Senior party member Samina Khalid Ghurki was the chief guest at the event, which was held at Model Town.

Others who were in attendance included Women’s Wing Lahore President Nargis Khan, Nasira Shaukat, Aqeela Yousaf, Sagheera Islam, Robeena Sohail, Parveen Sheikh, Naheed Huma, Humera Shah and Shehnaz Kanwal.

In the end, cake was cut to celebrate Bilawal’s birthday.
