MUMBAI: Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot in Rajasthan on Tuesday and announced their wedding with a “Shershaah” twist.
The power couple tied the knot in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends at the Suryagarh resort in Rajasthan. The couple posted three pictures on social media, one showing Sidharth kissing his bride, with a caption borrowed from their 2021 film “Shershaah”, where their love story began. “Ab humari permanent booking ho gayi hai (now we are permanently booked),” read the caption, continuing, “We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead.”
The wedding was well-wished by celebrity friends and attended by Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar, Isha Ambani, and Juhi Chawla, among others.
Kiara and Sidharth fell in love while shooting for “Shershaah”, in which Sidharth played Captain Vikram Batra and Kiara portrayed his love interest. Both actors have upcoming projects, with Kiara starring in “Satyaprem Ki Katha” opposite Kartik Aaryan and a Telugu film with Ram Charan, and Sidharth recently releasing “Mission Majnu” and set to appear in “Yodha”.
