CDA de-notifies illegal up gradations of 51 officers

ISLAMABAD:  The Islamabad top civic agency the Capital Development Authority (CDA) hits by a mega scam of 51 officers illegal up-graded in a mysterious move previously the chairman CDA Aamir Ali Ahmad  on Thursday announced to de-notify the earlier up-gradations and orders to degrade 51 officers illegally upgraded.

It’s pertained to mentioned here that a scam hits CDA, earlier of upgrading fifty one officers in a mysterious move by surpassing all Standard Operating Procedures for up gradation following that an inquiry committee was formed headed by ex-Director administration Naeed Akbar Malik, and the members of the committee following deliberate consultation  mentioned that the up gradation of the mentioned officers were done in violation of laws and marked the process illegal in violation of the civic agency laws.

Earlier two inquiry committees were formed in civic agency that also marked the process illegal of 89 officers but the committee’s recommendations were not implemented.

An official of the civic agency told that earlier on one committee recommendations the human resource department (HRD) forwarded the illegal up gradation scam of 34 officers to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for action and the investigating body also called this process illegal in a fake move but their order was suspended by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) and then FIA move to the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the decision.

The de-graded employees opposed the recent move of the civic agency and called it selective accountability, the de-graded officers in their reservations told that a total of 1068 employees upgraded in illegal up gradation but the only 51 employees become victims.

The de-graded employee’s blames that in HRD directorate property dealers are misguiding the Chairman of the civic agency but human resource department (HRD) argues that all process was done in boundaries of law and the remaining employees will also be de-graded soon.

The officers who de-graded in fresh move are deputy director law, Atta Bari Arshad, Additional director Amad-u-deen, Deputy directors Riaz Khan, Yasir Lateef Geel, Mahfooz Raza, Muhammad Raza and Muhammad Rizawan including other officials.
