Chevron signs agreement with BE

KARACHI: Chevron signs Trademark Licensing Agreement with BeEnergy (BE) to reenter the fuels retail business in Pakistan. Chevron through the agreement allows BE to sell, market and distribute Chevron’s brand Caltex in Pakistan.

According to the agreement over 400 branded stations will be established in Pakistan during the next eight years.

During a ceremony here the other day, Country Chairman Chevron and General Manager Chevron Pakistan Ahmed Zahir said that this agreement is proof Chevron will play a role in investing in the Pakistani market.

“Through this agreement with BE we want to provide stability to our brand ‘Caltex’ by already established retail fuel sites,” he said while adding that Chevronn always thinks best for its consumers.

On the occasion Managing Director of BE Javed Alam said that the company has the infrastructure to boost the sale and increase the brand sale stations of Caltex.

Chevron, is working in Pakistan through its subsidiary Chevron Pakistan Lubricants (Pvt) Limited with its headquarters in Karachi. While Be Energy started working in Pakistan as Oil Marketing Company in 2005 and today in Pakistan it has over 450 outlets.
