Citizen welfare and security top priorities

KABUL (BNA): Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, recently met with Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, the Governor of Panjshir province. He emphasized that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan prioritizes the resolution of citizens’ issues and the assurance of overall security.

According to a statement from Arg, during the meeting, Governor Hakim provided an overview of the economic and local governance situation in Panjshir. He assured that security has been fully established in the province, and local officials are continually striving to address the people’s concerns and provide necessary services.

While acknowledging the Islamic Emirate’s efforts in various sectors, Hakim emphasized the need for strengthening religious schools, madrassas, and health clinics, particularly in the province’s remote areas. He also called for special attention to be given to the implementation of developmental projects.

In response, Mr. Hanafi commended the efforts and performance of the Panjshir officials. He reiterated that national security and the resolution of citizens’ issues are the Islamic Emirate’s top priorities. He urged local officials to intensify their efforts in these areas.

Addressing the suggestions presented, the Deputy Prime Minister assured that the Islamic Emirate would consider the issues related to the availability of facilities in the field.
