Courts disposed-off 100% freshly instituted cases across province

PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court (PHC) has disposed-off more than 99% while district judiciary superseded number from institution of cases as per the vision of the Chief Justice Musarrat Hilali regarding the dispensation of justice, a series of administrative actions were taken after the assumption of the office.

This was disclosed by PHC in press statement while added that Her ladyship devised an effective case management system and established special benches which contributed towards expeditious disposal of the cases is being appreciated at large.

The below statistics for the performance report of Peshawar High Court for the month of April 2023 as total Cases Instituted during the month 1950 while decided 1945 petitions and remaining pendency stands at 42132 at the court.

Similarly, Chief Justice has chaired a number of meetings with the judges of the family courts and the District Judiciary for gearing up their efforts tirelessly to come up with the expectations of the general public.

Chief Justice & Judges of Peshawar High Court are fully committed, towards the expeditious disposal of the cases and the dispensation of justice in the best public interest.

She has shown her satisfaction over the performance of the District Judiciary as the available data shows that the disposal against institution was found over and above 100% ratio.

The cases instituted 34186 at District Judiciary while disposed of 35028 remaining pendency stands at 266288 in the trial judiciary.
