HAFIZABAD: Expressing her concern over the non-functioning of six out of nine water filtration plants in the city, the Deputy Commissioner Saleha Saeed has ordered the Assistant Commissioner Hafizabad to ensure early functioning of the water filtration plants.
Taking exception over the complaints that three filtration plants are lying idle while filters of three others were not replaced for the past about four months, she said that public complaints should be redressed promptly and we should maintained the standard of amenities. She said that she would not tolerate the officials who were found irresponsible in the performance of their official duties. She also directed focal person for sanitation and anti-encroachments drive to continue his efforts to further improve sanitary conditions in the city and ensure removal of encroachments.
