DC takes swift action against corrupt Patwari

MARDAN: In response to a complaint lodged by a citizen, Deputy Commissioner of Mardan Division, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai has taken decisive action against a patwari found guilty of soliciting bribes. According to details a man named Hameed filed a complaint at the office of the Commissioner alleging that the patwari of the Jungara circle Wasal Ahmed was involved in corrupt practices, demanding an unlawful sum of 60,000 rupees and further extortion.

Commissioner Shaukat Ali Yousafzai promptly referred the matter to Deputy Commissioner Mardan, Muhammad Fayyaz Khan Sherpao, who appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner Saeedullah Jan as the inquiry officer. After conducting an investigation, the inquiry officer found the patwari, Wasal Ahmed, guilty of misconduct.

In light of the inquiry report, Deputy Commissioner Mardan Division, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, has taken stringent action against patwari Wasal Ahmed, immediately terminating his employment for abusing authority, obstructing justice, and engaging in corrupt practices.

Furthermore, Commissioner Shaukat Ali Yousafzai warned that no government employee would be allowed to harass the public or impede the delivery of justice. He emphasized that strict action would be taken against employees involved in misconduct and other illegal activities.

He said that transparent examinations are the first priority.On the occasion, the members of the Provincial Assemblies said in their address that the performance of the government schools is improving day by day, therefore the Chairman Board should focus on bringing positive changes in the performance of the government schools in the merit based examinations so that the children of the poor people can think of higher education.

He said that during the holidays, 170 babies were born in the hospital, while 1895 patients underwent CT scans, X-rays and ultrasounds, while 5514 different laboratory tests and 99 procedures were also performed.
