ECP completes demarcations of all NA, PA constituencies

ISLAMABAD: In a significant development in preparations for the general elections, scheduled to be held on February 8, 2024, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has completed demarcations of all National Assembly (NA) and provincial assemblies’ (PA) constituencies, on Tuesday.

According to the details, which the City42 has managed to obtain, the ECP has retained Lahore’s all 14 NA seats and 30 Punjab Assembly (PA) seats.

The first NA seat in Lahore is NA-117 while the first PA seat in the city is PP-145.

NA-127, a constituency in the city, has the largest population, while NA-125 has the lowest population.

While making delimitations, the election commission has ensured that each NA constituency has a population between 900,000 and 972, 000.

The last NA constituency of the provincial capital is NA-130 while the last PP seat is PP-174.

The total population of NA-117 is over 92,000 while that of NA-118 is over 965,000.

Similarly, the total population of NA-119 is over 916,000, while that of NA-120 is over 937,000.

Likewise, the total population of NA-121 is over 9,2000, of NA-122 is over 953,000, of NA-123 over 911,000, of NA-124, 9,01000, of NA-125 899,000, of NA-126 938,000, of NA-127 over 972,000, and of NA-128 over 970,000.

According to new delimitations, NA-130 has the population of 923,000.
