A banner displayed behind the officers reads: ‘Our determination: Every child in school’, asking the parents to enroll their children in the state-run schools.

The Education department head asked the parents to send their children to schools, allowing them to unfold their dreams, talent and desires through the education. In order to increase the enrollment ratio in government-run schools he said, the department has kicked-off enrollment campaign for the new academic year 2019 in every nook and corner of the district. “The campaign aims at creating awareness regarding the importance of education, improving literacy rate and maximum enrollment of children in government-run schools,” the officers added.

“The parents should enroll their children and community members should play their key role in persuading the teachers to ensure their presence in schools”. They appealed. It is worth mentioning that in Balochistan province, where drop-out rate in government-run schools is high and the schools also lack basic facilities.
