MUMBAI: Indian filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt recently underwent an angioplasty treatment and is already back home.
On Friday morning, news spread that Mahesh Bhatt had undergone a heart surgery. However, he later refuted the claims and said he had undergone an angioplasty.
He reportedly stated that surgery involves the use of knife, whereas angioplasty is a frequent procedure that takes 30 minutes, requires no blood, and does not require an overnight stay in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Bhatt also thanked the staff at the Hospital for handling his bloodless treatment, claiming that they were finest of the best. He also disclosed that the procedure took place on Jan 16, and he arrived home on Jan 18.
