Hammad Azhar wanted in Jinnah House attack case dodges police raid

LAHORE: Police in Lahore arrested two people for providing shelter to PTI leader Hammad Azhar, an absconder in Jinnah House case.

However, Hammad managed to escape from the spot.

Police said that after learning about the presence of Hammad in the city, they raided a house in Jafaria Colony.

On seeing cops, PTI leader’s hosts started raising hue and cry, the Force said, adding however, by the time the police personnel entered the house, the absconder had fled.  

The police said that one of those taken into custody was identified as Baqir.
