IPP’s Aun Chaudhry says he is the true winner of NA-128

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Leader of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Aun Chaudhary on Friday said he is the true winner of NA-128 and alleged that men wearing black coats are harassing him which is unacceptable.

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he claimed “I won election from NA-128 and my notification was issued on 9th February.”

He alleged that workers of rival Salman Akram Raja beat government employees during the campaign.

Aun Chaudhary said that Salman Akram Raja along with more than 60 lawyers pressurized the returning officer.

Aun Choudhary also showed pictures of the tortured employees at the press conference.

“He has created fake Twitter accounts of the Election Commission,” Aun Chaudhary blamed. He said Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) report against Salman Akram Raja is in front of everyone.

“This country is as much yours as it is ours”, he said and added “We will not allow you or other enemies to play with the country.”

They did organized rigging in KP elections and it will be out in a few days, Aun Chaudhary said.

Those who made the petrol bombs on May 9 are terrorists, Aun Chaudhary alleged. “You made false cases against Jahangir Tareen’s daughters,” he claimed.

Aun Chaudhry said he had come before the media to “expose Salman Akram Raja for who he really is” after the latter — a PTI-backed candidate who contested the Feb 8 polls — filed a petition with the Lahore High Court (LHC) over the results of NA-128; the two had contested the general elections from the constituency.

Aun Chaudhry said he was the true winner of the NA-128 seat based on the Form 45 issued. “The Form 45 that you give is correct, but the one we give is incorrect?” he asked.

“I am sitting here today because you have compelled me to expose you. When you talk about my country, I will not stay quiet,” he said. “I have won, and I will claim this victory; this propaganda and these fake results you are spreading, I will not let this happen.”

Posing a question to Raja, Chaudhry asked: “Why was there no rigging in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? Where you have lost, you claim there was rigging. Where you won, there is no rigging.

“The organised rigging you did in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also be exposed,” he warned.
