Islamic Emirate again declares support for Palestinian people

KABUL (TOLOnews): The Islamic Emirate once again declared its support for the Palestinian people.

In a statement, the Islamic Emirate said that Israel’s attacks, cutting off water and preventing the entry of food and medicine into Gaza are a great human “horror.” The Islamic Emirate asked the international community, especially the Islamic countries and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to address the Palestinian issue as soon as possible and prevent Israel’s “barbaric” attacks on Gaza.

“The Islamic Emirate strongly condemns this great human crime. The Islamic Emirate declares its sympathy and support for the oppressed people of Palestine and asks the rest of the Islamic world to support the people of Palestine,” the statement reads.

The conflict between Israel and Palestine entered its eighth day in Saturday. More than 1,900 people have been killed and more than 7,600 have been injured in Gaza as a result of these conflicts, according to the official numbers provided by the health authorities of Gaza.

“This is a genocide, not a war, it’s genocide. And it’s an attempt to displace the people of the Gaza Strip, but this will not happen,” said a resident of Gaza, Mohammad Sadeq. The United Nations, the European Union, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt and several other countries have called for an end to this war. Israeli authorities have reportedly said that 1,300 people have killed and 3,400 have been injured as a result of Hamas attacks on Israeli cities.

They added that Hamas forces have taken 120 Israeli civilians hostage. “We are striking at our enemies with unprecedented might. I emphasise: This is just the beginning. Our enemies have only begun paying the price. And I won’t detail what is yet to come. But I tell you that this is only the beginning,” said Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel.

Meanwhile, António Guterres, Secretary-General of the UN, wrote on social media that “Moving more than one million people across a densely populated warzone to a place with no food, water, or accommodation, when the entire territory of Gaza is under siege, is extremely dangerous – and in some cases, simply not possible.” This comes as once again hundreds of citizens of Pakistan, Iran, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, America, France, Bangladesh, Japan, South Korea and several other countries marched and called for an end to the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.
