ISPR: Two soldiers martyred, four terrorists killed in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Two soldiers were martyred while four terrorists were killed in a gunfight between the security forces and militants in North Waziristan on Wednesday night.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing, said in a statement that two soldiers embraced martyrdom while four soldiers got injuries in the exchange of fire. The incident occurred near Mirali Town.

Terrorists opened fire on a convoy which resulted in the martyrdom of Naib Subedar Amin Ullah, 34, sepoy Sher Zamin, 24. Four personnel also sustained injuries in the firing.

The terrorists were involved in kidnapping for ransom, extortion, fire raids on security forces and IED explosions.
