JUI-F take out Palestine solidarity rally in Landi Kotal

LANDI KOTAL: On call of the party leadership, volunteers of Jamiat Ullema-e-Islam, Fazalrehman (JUI-F) staged a protest at Iqra Chowk, Landi Kotal bazaar on Friday in solidarity with Palestinians and against the Israeli government.

Led by local leader of the JUI-F,Mufti Muhammad Ijaz, a number of the party workers, religious scholars and general people participated in the rally,  marched from Quba Masjid,Station to Iqra Square.

The protestors hold banners and placards engraved with slogans against Israeli state violence as they took part in the demonstration in support of Palestine.

Addressing on the occasion speakers including Mufti Muhammad Ijaz,Qari Mujahid,Maulana Ibahim,Jihad Shah and others strongly condemned the Israeli atrocities against Palestinians and said that Hamas latest attacks on Israel were the result of decade long silence and ignorance of Palestine rights.

They demanded the Muslim countries to come forward for the rescue of the Palestinians as the western world had turned blind eyes towards the Israeli violence against Palestinians.

The United Nations should take practical steps to ensure peace in Palestine; they added and said the people of Pakistan stood stern beside their Palestinian brothers to win independence from Israeli occupation and to get a separate state for them.

In the same way, pro-Palestinians demonstrations were held in Jamrud and Bara subdivisions of Khyber.

At the end the participants offered prayer for the success of Palestinian people and dispersed.
