KKKUK shines in National Youth Carnival

KARAK: Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak grabbed different positions in the co-curricular activities in National Youth Carnival held under the aegis of youth affairs directorate of provincial government and Vice Chancellor congratulated the students, parents and the University staff for marvelous performance of the students in the competition.

While addressing to the function arranged for the distribution of prizes and cash among the winners’ students of the University here on Sunday the vice chancellor Professor Dr Jehan Bakht claimed that it was a moment of pride for the University because the students have earned a very big name for the University in National Youth Carnival.

He said that this region was very fertile and has produced great talent every time for the country.

He resolved that they have to produce not only degree holders’ citizens but they have to produce good human beings who serve the area and the country with zeal.

The vice chancellor pinpointed that there was vacuum of training in the new generation and underlined the need of imparting proper training to the students as according to him education without training was meaningless.

He extended full support to the faculty for co-curricular activities to produce leadership qualities among the students through such activities.

He congratulated the youth carnival committee convener Wajhat Kareem Qureshi and its members for their untiring efforts for taking the students to its destination by grabbing positions in the contests.

On the occasion in his address Wajahat Kareem appreciated the dynamic leadership of Vice Chancellor and registrar Abdul Basit for extending all out support to the committee which enable them to win in the contests. He also appreciated the outstanding support of the committee members including Shad Muhammad, Muhammad Ilyas, Ms. Nadia and Fakhrul Islam. Later awards and cash prizes were given to the winning students by the vice chancellor.
