Male nurse appointment in Zone-3: PHC directs to resolves matter

PESHAWAR: The divisional bench of Peshawar High Court comprising of Rooh-ul-Amin and Justice Syed Arshad Ali directed Department of Health and KP Public Service Commission (KPPSC) to resolve issue in recruitment process of Male Nurse in Zone-3 Malakand division, on Thursday.
During hearing Justice Rooh-ul-Amin remarked that there are 15 to 20 officers serving on high positions but did not produce merit list in five appearance in the case.
The counsel for petitioner Amin-ur-Rehman Advocate informed that in 2015 KPPSC had advertised 285 vacancies of Male Nurse in which 47 posts were allocated for Zone-3 Malakand division.
The counsel informed that the petitioner has passed the test but did not secure post due to lower position but candidates laying in merit list were already regularized in 2016 because they are serving on Ad-hoc at the department of health as male nurse.
However, the petitioner position become well but KPPSC and Department of Health has shown the recruitment on quota despite their regularization, counsel informed. He added that earlier 12 candidates has approached the court, while court had directed to separate doubling cases and appointed them but government had appointed 50 nurses despite 12 candidates.
The counsel added that now KPPSC and health’s department did not recruiting the petitioners claiming the doubling cases while also did not submit reply before court.
Moreover, Justice Rooh-ul-Amin remarked that Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Special Secretary, Director and Deputy Director along with other officers serving the department but cannot able to submit one reply, laterally PHC directed KPPSC and health’s department sit together for resolution of the issue while adjourned further hearing.
