Minister says PTI will bring fair accountability system

PESHAWAR: Provincial Minister for Sports and Irrigation, Mehmood Jan said that Chairman of Pakistan Tehreeke-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will introduce a transparent and fair accountability system in the country to hold plunderers and rulers accountable for massive corruption and irregularities after coming into power.

He claimed the Chairman PTI is committed to bring about drastic changes and reforms in national institutions of the country so that Pakistan could progress in the regions like other countries. Speaking at a public meeting at Sanpoora Matta Swat, Mehmood Jan clearly said that his party despite protecting personal interests has prioritized collective development in the province.

On the occasion, a number of ANP and JUI-F local leaders and activists announced joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and left their parties for poor polices. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, he claimed had vowed to take tangible steps against people involved in corruption and overcome injustices in the province. He stated that drastic changes have taken place in education and health sector in the province as part of PTI,s electioneering and fulfilled its promises made with people.

Mr Jan clearly said the leaders and activists of other parties are joining PTI for its masses-friendly policies and reforms it (govt) had brought in all departments to facilitate the masses. The PTI will contest forthcoming general elections in 2018 on basis of its performance and pledges it had fulfilled in last four and half years, he added.

A large number of local leaders of PTI and other people were present at public meeting. The JUI-F leaders and workers who joined PTI included Bakhtzada alias Kaka, Haider Ali, Israrullah, Samiullah, Bacha Syed, Khalilullah, Behram Khan, Muhammad Ali Jan while ANP workers also left their party. Syed Ahmad Noor, General Councilor, Sher Bahadar Khan, Muhammad Syed and others also delivered speeches on the occasion and lashed out at opponent parities.

Provincial Minister claimed that people in recent by-polls in NA-04 reposed confidence on policies of KP-led-provincial government by casting votes in favor of PTI aspirant and the reason why his party won the seat with massive margin. It is a clear message to rival parties that people still consider PTI as a ray of hope for coming general polls, he added.
