ISLAMABAD: Royal Army of Oman Commander Major General Matar bin Salim bin Rashid Al-Balushi Monday called on the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Gen Asim and the Oman army commander discussed matters of mutual interest in the meeting.
The visiting dignitary lauded the Pakistan Army’s achievements in the fight against terrorism and continued efforts for regional peace and stability.
Earlier on arrival at GHQ, Commander Royal Army of Oman laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented the guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
