Pakistan Navy ship in Qatar for World Cup security

DOHA: Pakistan Navy ship PNS Tabuk had docked at a Qatari port to take part in maritime security operation during the World Football Cup, on Tuesday.

According to a Pakistan Navy spokesman, PNS Tabul will coordinate with the Qatari government for the maritime security during the 2022 World Cup.

The Amiri Naval Forces received, at Umm Al Houl Naval Base, the Pakistani vessel Tabuk which will participate in securing the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

This participation comes within the cooperation agreements concluded by the Qatar’s Ministry of Defence with brotherly and friendly forces to secure the championship.

Tabuk’s commanding officer also held talks with the host naval officers exchanged views of maritime security during FIFA World Cup.
