Pakistan reports 1,910 new Coronavirus cases, 64 deaths in last 24 hours

LAHORE: Pakistan has reported 64 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 539,387. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 11,514 on Thursday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,910 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Province-wise Details

Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.

Till now 243,683 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 155,805 in Punjab 66,198 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 41,076 in Islamabad, 18,788 in Balochistan, 8,931 in Azad Kashmir and 4,906 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore 4,661 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 3,957 in Sindh, 1,870 in KP, 472 in Islamabad, 259 in Azad Kashmir, 193 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB.

Tests and Recoveries

Pakistan has so far conducted 7,804,935 coronavirus tests and 40,821 in the last 24 hours. 494,578 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,147 patients are in critical condition.
