LAHORE: Pakistan Super League’s number one franchise in terms of media and brand value, Peshawar Zalmi has reached an agreement with Haier Pakistan for main title sponsorship for the sixth edition of the tournament starting from 20th February, 2021.
Javed Afridi, Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi and Mr. Fang from Haier Pakistan signed a sponsorship agreement in Lahore.
Star cricketers Wahab Riaz, Imam-ul-Haq and Kamran Akmal along with the management of Peshawar Zalmi and Haier Pakistan also attended the sponsorship agreement ceremony at Haier & Ruba Economic Zone, Lahore.
On the occasion, Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Javed Afridi said that he was happy on the agreement with Haier Pakistan. “Peshawar Zalmi and Haier Pakistan will continue to play their role for the promotion of cricket and sports in the country”.
Javed Afridi said that Haier Pakistan has provided support and sponsorship to domestic as well as Pakistan cricket team at times when Pakistan was playing all its home series abroad. Haier Pakistan and Zalmi Foundation also sponsored Pakistan hockey team for the World Cup.
Javed Afridi further said that PSL 6 will be as successful as the previous five seasons inshallah. Holding PSL matches in Pakistan is a development welcomed by all. Mr. Fang of Haier Pakistan expressed happiness over the partnership with Peshawar Zalmi and said that this winning partnership will continue in the future.
