ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Golf Federation in collaboration with Federal Golf Association organized 3rd Pakistan Ladies Amateur Golf Championship at the Islamabad Golf Club. Serena Hotels sponsored the event under the Sports Diplomacy Initiative. At the close of the third and final day of “3rd Pakistan Ladies Amateur Golf Championship”, winners were announced and honored with trophies.
Chief Guest at the event was Dr Sania Nishtar. Zeenath Ayesha thanked the chief guest Dr Sania for her patronage of the game and Serena Hotels for their support in promoting lady’s golf through their Sports Diplomacy. Mr. Aziz Boolani, CEO Serena Hotels, said, “The Serena Hotels Sports Diplomacy Initiative began with a Foreign Office golf tournament and now under this banner, Serena Hotels hosts numerous sports events on National and International level that includes the prestigious President of Pakistan Gold Medal Golf Tournament, the President Gold Cup International Squash Championship, the Serena Hotels Chief of the Air Staff International Squash Championship and Serena Hotels Polo Cup, International Tennis Championships, Cricket and Invitational Golf Tournaments”.
