PML-Q’s Chaudhry Sarwar likely to join PPP

LAHORE: Former Punjab governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has decided to part ways with the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) as he is going to join the Pakistan Peoples Party on January 21, on Thursday.

The 24News TV channel has learnt that Chaudhry Sarwar would announce his decision at the party’s public gathering.

In this connection, all matters between the former Punjab governor and the PPP have been settled as he has already met with the former president Asif Ali Zardari and party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

It is worth-mentioning here that Sarwar has already announced his support for Bilawal, who is a candidate for NA-127.
