F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said he is deeply saddened by the loss of innocent lives in the condemnable and cowardly terrorist attack in Quetta.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said the Pakistani nation has made great sacrifices in defeating terrorism and they will not allow this scourge to rise again. “We remain alert to all internal and external threats,” he added.

Separately, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also condemned the Quetta blast and expressed sorrow and grief with the families of those killed in the Quetta blast.

“Those who try to bathe Quetta in blood in the holy month of Ramadan are enemies of humanity,” Bilawal said. The PPP chairman said that violence, unrest, lawlessness, extremism and terrorism are on the rise in the country due to the non-implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP).
