Rulers ignore tribesmen in last seven decades

LANDI KOTAL: Although tribesmen have played their due role in the independence and development of the country, the rulers have neglected them in the last seven decades.

Talking to local media persons on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the conference hall in Landi Kotal press club, district Khyber last day, Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan said that the tribal rendered matchless sacrifice for the sake of their motherland however they were still deprived of their basic rights.

Promises made at time of merging cannot be materialized till the moment that is a cheating of rulers and a deliberate effort to keep them underprivileged, he added.

He went on that in the modern time, the tribal sought for having potable water that put a question mark on the efficiency of the former parliamentarians of the constituencies.

Flanked by district Khyber leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan assured the tribal that if the JI candidates elected in the upcoming general election, they would address the miseries of locals.

He urged the local journalists to utilize their energies in the best interest of the people.

On a query he maintained that it was binding on the Election Commission of Pakistan to ensure free and fair election as voting was the lonely solution to the problems being faced by the citizens.
