Sharjeel vows to speed up action against drug dealers

KARACHI: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has stated that the days of drug dealers are numbered, and the Sindh government is determined to rid the province of drugs.

In a statement, Senior Provincial Minister for Information, Excise, Taxation, Narcotics Control, Transport, and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon commended the efforts of the police and excise narcotics control personnel against drugs.

He emphasized that drug dealers are poisoning the veins of our new generation, and they will not be forgiven in any way. People from all walks of life must come forward for a drug-free society.

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon’s instructions to crack down on drug dealers in different districts are ongoing. Another 56 drug dealers have been arrested during the ongoing crackdown.

10 kg of hashish, 28 grams of heroin, 5 grams of ice, 1036 liters of local made liquor, and harmful gutka have been recovered from the arrested accused.

27 drug peddlers have been arrested and booked in different areas of Badin.
The police of Dadu district have arrested 29 drug dealers, including one female drug dealer.

5720 grams of hashish, 21 liters of locally made liquor, 28 grams of heroin, 5 grams of ice, and 6000 grams of harmful gutka were recovered from the accused, and cases have been registered.
