Shehram for action against PTI MPs involved in horse trading

MARDAN: Senior Provincial Minister for Health Sheram Khan Tarakai has demanded of his party leadership to not only take stern action but also to expel those PTI lawmakers from party who were found involved in horse-trading during the recently held senate elections.

He was talking to media-persons after attending a ceremony at the Naseem Abad Par Hoti area regarding the appointment of  Asad Saleem as honorary Council General of Bosnia.

The senior provincial health minister while talking to journalists expressed great concern over the act of horse-trading and asked to the party leadership to carry out stern accountability of PTI MPAs so that to make them example for others.

He said that the involvement of PTI lawmakers in practice of horse-trading during the senate polls was a very bad stain over the party. Besides, he said that the PTI MPAs’ involvement in the menace of horse-trading had disheartened their ideological party leaders and workers.

To a query, he said that those lawmakers to should be exposed before people as they had not only betrayed the PTI leadership and ideological workers but also the entire nation.

He claimed that the leadership had devised a well strategy for success of PTI candidates for senate elections but some of the party MPAs preferred their personal interest over the party and national interest. Despite of horse-trading, he, however, said that they were succeeded to elect their five senators.

”All the five succeeded senators will work as per the party manifesto,” he said. Replying a question regarding the party tickets for the coming general elections of 2018, he said that the party leadership would award tickets to those candidates whom they considered suitable and eligible for it.

To a query, he said that the PTI leadership would decide about the chairmanship and Deputy Chairmanship of senate and whatever was decided by it they would accept it in the best interest of nation as well as the party.
