Tribal elders, scholars meet with Deputy PM

KABUL (ToloNews): Several tribal elders and scholars from various parts of the country have met with the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs and discussed the implementation of large economic projects and creating job opportunities for citizens.

Hamdullah Fitrat, the Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, said that during this meeting, the tribal elders expressed their support for the interim government and pledged their cooperation in various sectors.

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, mentioned in this meeting that currently complete stability and security exist in the country, providing the groundwork for various projects to be implemented. He further added that the Islamic Emirate is striving to utilize the available resources for the advancement of Afghanistan.

On the other hand, some scholars and Shia elders, in a meeting with Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office, said that they are ready for any kind of cooperation with the Islamic Emirate. Hanafi, in this meeting, also referred to Afghanistan as a shared home for all and emphasized that we must defend the current government and country through cooperation.

Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, said: “The Administrative Deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office stated that this system is a shared system, and Afghanistan is the home of all. It is necessary for all citizens to collectively support this system and work together for its development.”

According to some economic experts, the lack of job opportunities is a fundamental cause of increasing poverty in the country, and the initiation of large economic projects by the Islamic Emirate could have an impact on reducing poverty.

Mohammad Nabi Afghan, an economic expert, said: “How do we use the God-given resources? How can we change the situation of our neighbors compared to ourselves? This plan requires expertise and an understanding of Afghanistan’s situation. Those present here and who are educated should develop plans to overcome this situation.”

After the return of the Islamic Emirate to power in Afghanistan, various economic projects have been funded by domestic revenue.
