Yamaha YB125Z, the revised price of the Yamaha YB125Z (Red, Black) is RS. 273,000 against the previous price of RS. 255,500.

Yamaha YB125Z-DX, the new price of the Yamaha YB125Z-DX (Red, Blue, Black) is RS. 292,500 after the RS. 273,500 ex-rates.

YBR 125G Limited Edition has been increased by 15500 to 331,000 rupees.

This is reportedly the sixth price hike by Yamaha this year. Lately, Atlas Honda and Pak Suzuki Motor Company also notified a huge increase in the prices of motorbikes amid skyrocketing inflation and depreciation of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against the US dollar and the implementation of the Super Tax on the automotive industry.

There is little justification for motorcycle manufacturers to raise prices so frequently and by such significant margins as bike manufacturing has been localized by up to 94 percent in Pakistan.

The people are of the view that the depreciation of the local currency caused price hikes across the board in Pakistan’s auto industry, whether it be for cars or two-wheelers, pushing prices out of reach for an average person.

Electronic and Motorcycle Dealers Alliance general secretary Abdullah Shari said that there is an increase in the price of raw materials that is causing a rapid increase in the prices of motorbikes.
