KABUL: The security forces thawrted a deadly terrorist plot and defused the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Sufi Ashriqui shrine in Kabul on late Tuesday night.

The Afghan security forces conducted an operation in the Sufi Ashrqui shrine after receiving intellegence report and recovered IED bombs. The forces told that the terrorists placed the IED bombs in the shrine and were trying to blast it in the middle of the worshippers in the Shrine situated in the Kabul city.

The armed groups have not commented on the report so far.
