Turkish Teachers demand release of their Ex-director

PESHAWAR: :The Teachers of Pak-Turk school system have demanded recovery of Mr. Mesut Kacmaz Ex- director Pak-Turk school system along with his family who were abducted on 27 September in Lahore.

The Turkish teachers along with pupils have gathered here at Peshawar press club on Friday to register their grievances and the fear spread among the teachers and students of Pak-Turk School.

Representing the Pak-Turk School Advocate  Shah Muhammad  said that it is indeed a shameful act that those who enlightened our children with the light of knowledge from previous twenty years are now facing abduction and court proceedings.

He said Mr. Mesut Kacmaz Ex- director Pak-Turk school system was a prominent figure in entire Alma mater and the service he rendered during his brief stint was unprecedented.

He further said that the police are showing cold shoulder in lodging FIR and producing the culprits while forty eight hours passed neither the FIR lodged nor the culprits were produced to the judge.

The lawyer further said Turkish teachers are currently dwelling in Pakistan under the umbrella of stay order and UNHCR asylum certificate as refuge, the teachers’ only request to let them live unimpeded during this asylum period.

The teachers demanded of the federal government to immediately release the director and his family and grant visa extension to the teachers so that they could perform their teaching responsibilities uninterrupted.
