PESHAWAR: Seven people were killed in separate incidents in the provincial capital in last two days.
In the first incident, a man was killed by mobile snatchers upon his resistance with snatchers in the jurisdiction of Mathra Police Station.
Irfan Ullah, a brother of the deceased, filed a report with police and stated that he along with his 22-year old brother were on way Bazaar when three armed men snatched a cell phone from his brother Sabir Shah. He said that his brother tried to resist with snatchers, “upon resistance, the robbers opened fire on them.” As result of firing his brother died on the spot while he remained unhurt.
Meanwhile, two brothers were killed and two injured during clashes among two rivals over a property dispute in the jurisdiction of Inqilab Police Station.
Local police said that two rivals opened fire on each other at Panj Kath Road. As result of firing Darya Khan and his brother Daraz Khan were shot dead and his uncle Yaqoob Khan received bullets injuries from one group. During cross firing, Sher Ali was also injured from another group.
Police registered cross FIR and started further investigation.
Similarly, a man was killed over a property dispute in Pishtakhara.
Haji Toor Khan filed a report with police and said that his brother Gohar Ali was killed by Farman Ali, Rehman Ali, Farid Ullah, Shahid Khan, Zeshan and Hashmat in Pishtakhara.
Similarly, another man was killed over a property dispute in Daudzai area of Peshawar.
The deceased was identified as Syed Akbar Ali Shah.
In another instance, a young man was killed by unknown individuals in Yakatoot. Ali Jan, a brother of the deceased, filed a report with police and said that his brother was killed by unknown armed men at Ghari Sher Ali Khan area. The complainant added in his statement that they had no enmity.
Meanwhile, a man was mistakenly killed by his own friend. Ghani Khan reported the incident to police and stated that his nephew was shot dead by his friend when he mistakenly fires a bullet and hit his nephew.
In another incident, a five-year-old girl was killed in a road misshape when a speedy car of health department hit her in the jurisdiction of Inqilab Police Station.
Police arrested the driver after the road accident.
