F.P. Report

LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Tuesday extended the judicial remand of PTI leader Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhary in the case of vandalism of Shadman police station on May 9 by another 13 days.

The court ordered the police to now produce the PTI leader on July 31.

Earlier, he was produced in the court on the completion of his judicial remand’s term.

The investigation officer (IO) told judge Abher Gul that the case’s challan was being prepared; therefore, he needed more time.

Thousands of people lost their temper and took to streets in several cities of the country to register their protest over the arrest of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan from a court in Islamabad on May 9.

They ransacked and even torched government and military installations that made headlines both in local and international newspapers.
