ATC extends Khadija Shah’s judicial remand for another 14 days

F.P. Report

LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Monday extended judicial remand of Khadija Shah, a renowned fashion designer and a diehard PTI supporter, in Askari Tower attack case for another 14 days.

The court ordered police to now produce Khadija on July 17 and also submit case challan.

Thousands of people lost their temper and came out on roads in several cities of the country to register their protest over the sudden arrest of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan on May 9, 2023.

They ransacked government and military installations and even damaged memorials of the martyrs of Pakistan Army.

The incidents prompted the government to accuse the PTI leaders and workers of being behind the violence and launch a countrywide crackdown on them.
