PESHAWAR: AIG Dr Quraish Khan was conferred the Commonwealth Award 2023 at Nairobi Kenya on 27 November.
He was granted this prestigious award for his outstanding services in introducing innovations in the policing.
Some of his remarkable works includes his pioneer book on” Police Technophobia”, establishment of Institute of Forensic Science at Peshawar on self-help basis and establishment of first ever women reporting centre at Pakistan ‘s former areas.
His innovative work got international fame in field of criminology and criminal justice. He was one of 15 awardee of the Commonwealth award 2023 that have been selected out of 3 thousands nominations from 56 countries of the Commonwealth.
He is the first ever Pakistani Police officer who achieved this award. Akhtar Hayat Khan, IG KP felicities Dr Quraish for the international fame and termed Dr Quraish Khan as an asset of KP Police.
