Due to BRT construction; gas pipe lines shifted: GM

PESHAWAR: General Manager SNGPL-KP Arbab Saqib apprising the consumers declared that there is no load-shedding of SNGPL in Peshawar.

He said that due to construction process on BRT rout; main pipe lines of 16 inches and 12 inches were being shifted from GT road and under pass to road shoulder that is why the Sui Gas supply was suspended at 02:00 am till morning, Sui Gas supply was gradually being restored from 08:00 am yesterday (Sunday).

GM SNGPL remarked that the three days work of shifting and restoration has been completed in 10 hours by Sui Gas staff, I by myself monitor all the sites and SNGPL staff presents alongside the machinery on rout in order to restore the damage pipe line or shift to safe side. Arbab Saqib said that BRT construction is in progress of main line of Sui Gas i.e. GT road, University road and Peshawar Cantt therefore Gas pressure decrease or suspended during the shifting or restoration of damage pipe, for a while but there is no load-shedding of Sui Gas. General Manger Arbab Saqib said that consumers should not be anxious, officers and officials of SNGPL are available around the clock at the sites for quick restoration of Sui Gas.

He recalled that the consumers should turn off their Sui Gas equipment in night because minor restoration or shifting is being done on day time while restoration or shifting of unusual nature is being done in night.
