Earthquake jolt parts of Badakhshan

KABUL (Khaama Press): The United States Geological Survey said that on Monday morning, a 5.4 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of the Badakhshan province in northeastern Afghanistan, which recently experienced a landslide.
The earthquake was confirmed in the province of Badakhshan’s Shaghnan district, according to Moizuddin Ahmadi, the Taliban head of Information and Culture for Badakhshan province.
The earthquake that shook northeastern Afghanistan on Monday, November 7, was 5.4 on the Richter scale, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The epicenter of this earthquake was at a depth of 103 kilometers in the Jurm district of Badakhshan.
The city of Faizabad, the heart of Badakhshan, Afghanistan, as well as several areas of Badakhshan, Tajikistan, have all felt the effects of the earthquake.
There is currently no information available regarding the earthquake’s potential damages or casualties.
