FAISALABAD: Minister of state for power Abid Sher Ali has said alliance forged by Sheikh Rashid, Imran Khan and their allies is alliance of robbers, dacoits who have gathered against Nawaz Sharif.
He said this while addressing a ceremony held on completion of development projects in Sittara colony and later talking to media men here Saturday.
He held that people should hurl shoes on Sheikh Rashid, Imran Khan and their allies who curse parliament and then seek votes from people too. He remarked only Nawaz Sharif is being held accountable and not the thieves.
He stated Jahangir Tareen got the land of poor Haris on lease and he set up sugar mills out of income of this land. Punjab government should take notice of it, he added.
He underlined the one sided accountability of Nawaz Sharif is not acceptable to the nation. They are finding all the evils in Nawaz Sharif but nation has rejected disqualification and accountability of Nawaz Sharif.
No one can erase Nawaz Sharif from the hearts of people, he said adding that unprecedented public participation in Nawaz Sharif public meetings from Khyber to Karachi bear testimony that people love Nawaz Sharif unstintingly today too. They still consider him their prime minister.
It is strange that Asif Zardari is being considered clean today and Nawaz Sharif is being held accountable, he remarked.
