LOWER DIR: Ms Anju, a 34-year-old Indian woman who met Nasrullah, her Facebook friend from Upper Dir four months ago, left for India via Wagah border on Wednesday due to expiry of her visit visa in Pakistan, family sources told local journalists. They said that Nasrullah, her husband, departed from the Wagha border.

The thirty-four-year-old Indian woman, who became Fatima from Anju, arrived on July 22 through the Wahga border four months ago and married Nasrullah, a 29-year-old resident of Upper Dir. On Wednesday Anju (Fatima) silently left for India.
Nasrullah, the husband of Anju (Fatima), told this correspondent on contact that they both had gone to Lahore three days ago where they visited the historical places like Badshahi Mosque, Badshahi Qilla, Pakistan Park etc.

He said that Ms Anju had been missing her two children since she came to Pakistan. “I departed Ms Anju (Fatima) from the Wahga border and she entered exactly at two o’clock on Wednesday”, he said, adding that Anju’s one-month visa had already expired. He said that they had applied to the Ministry of Interior to extend the period, but due to some difficulties, it could not be completed yet and the formal process was supposed to take four months to one year.

Nasrullah said that despite repeated pleas of Anju (Fatima), the visa was not extended so she decided to go back through a fifteen-day departure letter and canceled the visa extension application. He said that before returning to India, they were given a farewell party by various friends in Lahore.

Responding to a question, Nasrallah said that she would come to Pakistan again after three months. He said that if her visa was extended for one year, it would have been better, but it did not happen. “If I get a visa for India, then I will take Anju back myself”, he said. He said that Ms Anju was facing a divorce case from her first husband in India and she wished to meet her children.

He said that Ms Anju had got a lot of love and respect from everyone here in Pakistan. Nasrullah thanked the people of Dir for fully supporting him and said they did not let him lack anything.

Nasrullah’s family sources said that they were trying to shift to Dubai permanently to live a peaceful life where Ms Anju could also call her two children. Ms Anju (now Fatima) had solemnized a court marriage with Nasrullah after her conversion to Islam on July 25 in Upper Dir district.

Later the couple got unprecedented love and respect from locals and outsiders. Several companies and business organizations also announced plots and awarded the couple with precious gifts in parts of the country.
