PESHAWAR: In the women’s cricket event of Inter-Constituency Games 2022, Dir Lor and DI Khan teams managed to reach the finals. Qualified for the final by defeating them by 7 runs, on this occasion Director Female Games Rashida Ghaznavi, Deputy Director Sports Syed Jafar Shah, RSAO Swabi Tariq Khan, RSAO DI Khan Anwar Kamal Barki, Cricket Coach Pervez were the special guests.
Khan, Abed Afridi, Miss Saira while Irfan Babu, Bakhtiar and Aziz Khan performed the duties of match referees. Women’s cricket matches were played yesterday at Hayatabad Sports Complex in connection with the ongoing inter-district games organized by the Directorate of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In the first semi-final, the Deir Lor team scored 68 runs for the loss of three wickets in the allotted overs, while Peshawar scored 34 runs. was played between the teams in which DI Khan’s team scored 80 runs for the loss of three wickets in the allotted overs.
In which Ayesha performed a brilliant game and scored 35 runs.
In response, Swabi’s team scored 73 runs. Similarly, DI Khan’s team won by 7 runs.
