Kabul delegation departs for Islamic conference in Russia

KABUL (Agenices): The acting minister of Industry and Commerce with a delegation has traveled to Tatarstan in Russia having been officially invited to participate in the 14th international economic gathering titled “Russia and the Islamic World”.
A spokesman for this ministry said that, in addition to participating in the meeting, Nooruddin Azizi will discuss with the authorities of Russia and other countries facilitating trade and investment growth and attracting investment in Afghanistan.
“While participating in the mentioned gathering, Mr. Azizi will meet with Russian officials and officials of other countries and big companies in relation to facilitating trade and investment growth between the two countries and attracting investment in Afghanistan,” said Abdul Salam Jawad. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Higher Education said that in the three-day meeting, the deputy minister of Academic Affairs of the Ministry of Higher Education will also talk about education and educational opportunities.
Several lecturers emphasized that in addition to providing these opportunities, the Islamic Emirate should also focus on reopening universities for female students.
“The nation asked the government to reopen schools and universities for girls as soon as possible,” said Nasir Shafiq, a lecturer.
“The schools should not remain closed to women and girls and cause them challenges,” said Safiullah Arabzada, a lecturer.
According to the Information of the Ministry of Higher Education, the deputy minister of Academic Affairs, the acting minister of Industry and Commerce, the economic deputy consultant of the prime minister, and the economic head of the Economic Ministry were included in the delegation.
