NANKANA SAHIB: A man shot dead a newly-wed bride before committing suicide in the Shahpura locality of Nankana Sahib.
Police told local media that an 18-year-old Iqra, who got married two days back, had come to visit her parents in the city.
She went to meet her neighbors when a man identified as Karamat shot at and killed her and then committed suicide.
Citing initial investigation, a police official said Karamat opened fire at Iqra after a dispute with her parents. He said further investigation is underway.
