Martyred of Tangi Katcheri remembered

CHARSADDA: President of Tangi lawyers Association, Muhammad Ibrahim Mohmand has said that it is very shameful that district government and administration were failed to arrange any event or condolence reference on the 1st anniversary of Tangi Kactcheri martyred. This he said while addressing to the condolence reference arranged by lawyers community on the first death anniversary of the Tangi Katcheri blast.

Last year February 21, 2017, three suicide bombers attacked the Tangi Katcheri in which eight people including children were martyred and 21 others were seriously injured. Muhammad Ibrahim Mohmand said that it is very disturbing that on the government level our martyred of Tangi and Bacha Khan University were ignoring continuously which shows the government approach towards the victims of these incidents.

Similarly, Noshad Khan who is running a photo copier machine in front of Tnagi Katcheri and his shop was completely destroyed in the blast.

While talking to The Frontier Post, he told that several government and political officials visited his house and announced compensation package for him but all these promises still to be fulfilled, he lamented. I belong to a poor family and now I borrowed Rs 150000 to restart my business in front of the Tangi Katcheri, he said.

Meanwhile, Nazir Khan who lost his left arm in the Tangi attack told that government granted me Rs 100000 however spent more money on my treatment and adding that he submitted several applications but it is fall on the deaf ears of the authorities. According to the media report there are eight major terror attacks on legal fraternity across Pakistan including Peshawar, Mardan, Quetta, Charsadda, Islamabad and Karachi. Nearly 140 were martyred and 300 injured in these blast attacks.
