Minister inaugurates Sialkot-Kingra Road

SIALKOT: Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Sunday inaugurated the newly-constructed 17.88 KM-long main Sialkot-Kingra Road at Oora Chowk near here.

On this occasion, he said that the government had spent Rs651 million on the project for providing better.

No country has done more than Pakistan to end terrorism and no country has suffered more than Pakistan, he said, Pakistan is committed to take action against terrorists without any discrimination and its efforts to wipe out terrorism would continue.

Meanwhile, the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers clashed with a youth and severely thrashed him on Sunday after he chanted slogans against Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif when he arrived in his hometown Sialkot to lay foundation stone of city’s Kingra Road.

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif had to face an awkward situation when a youngster started chanting slogans against him.

After listening to the youngster, the activists of the PML-N became so infuriated and severely thrashed the youth.
