Mohib, Carter talk new anti-Taliban strategy

KABUL (Pajhwok): National Security Advisor (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib during a meeting with British Chief of Defence Staff Nick Carter and discussed latest security situation in Afghanistan, according to a statement on Friday.
NSA Mohib during his trip to the United Kingdom on Thursday met British chief of Defence Staff Nick Carter, a statement from the National Security Council (NSC) said.
Both dignitaries discussed the recent security situation and opposed growing violence by the Taliban, they also exchanged views on countering the Taliban strategy.
Earlier, Mohib had met his British counterpart Stephen Lovegrove in London and agreed to continue supporting efforts towards durable peace in Afghanistan.
During these meetings support to Afghanistan, exploring new ways of development, women rights and human rights were discussed.
