LAHORE: The Pakistan Bar Council strongly condemned the malicious campaign against Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
Pakistan Bar Council Vice Chairman Riazat Ali Sahar said that a campaign was launched to defame the Supreme Court and weaken the Chief Justice. “This campaign is based on an attempt to distort the decision of the Supreme Court,” he said.
He said that the court judgments cannot be allowed to be used for political gain. Some elements used false and fake information to incite violence and hatred, the PBC held.
The Vice Chairman further said that immediate and strict action should be taken against all those involved in this dangerous and shameful campaign.
